JazzFresno, the Fresno County Public Library, and the Community of Fresno Jazz Musicians, will host Jazz at the Library on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at the Woodward Park Regional County Library located at 944 E. Perrin Ave. (Champlain & Perrin), Fresno, CA 93720. Cosponsored by KFSR 90.7 FM and the Woodward Park Friends of the Library, this event is free and open to the public.

Please join us as Steve Wilson from Cabrillo College and the Kuumbwa Jazz Center in Santa Cruz presents a Jazz Time Machine: 100 years of Jazz History. We will hear live performances and descriptions of Jazz styles from Ragtime and Traditional Jazz to Swing, Be-Bop, Hard-Bop, Cool Jazz, Fusion, Latin Jazz, Hip-Hop Jazz and Post Modern. Steve will be joined by a local power trio comprised of Rick Helzer on piano, John Lauffenberger on bass and Gary Newmark on drums.
